Valentyna Yakubiv, First Vice-Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, is working in Tallinn (Estonia) as part of the project “Stairway to Excellence” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
This initiative is implemented jointly with the Estonian Education and Youth Council.
Together with colleagues from Ukrainian and Estonian universities, as well as experts in educational quality accreditation, they discussed topical issues such as
– how to support the functioning of universities in times of war,
– development of international accreditation,
– internationalisation of education,
– entrepreneurial approach in higher education,
– effective marketing policy.
Valentyna Yakubiv also visited the International Education Fair 2024 in Helsinki, Finland, where she learned about the best practices of universities in the Baltic States and Scandinavia.
“Developing cooperation with Estonian universities is an important priority of our internationalisation strategy,” said Valentyna Yakubiv.
