The Forum of the Councils of Young Scientists of the higher educational establishments of Ivano-Frankivsk region involving the Council of Young Scientist at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine – “New Trends: the Formula of Success of a Young Scientist” was held on April 23 in Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.
The event united 82 participants – young scientists, post-graduate students, lecturers from Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Kherson State University as well as the representatives of the state authorities, business, the public sector.
The Forum became the platform for discussions, the exchange of experience, the establishment of the inter-sectoral cooperation and the search for partners for realizing common scientific initiatives. The participants of the Forum were greeted by:
- Ihor Tsependa – Acting Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University;
- Serhii Sharin – Vice Rector for the Scientific-Pedagogical Work;
- Viktor Kimakovych – Director of the Department of Education, Science and Youth Policy of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration;
- Iryna Hryhoruk – Chief of the Scientific-Experimental Department;
- Olesia Vashchuk – Head of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Everybody supported the young scientists’ initiatives and highlighted the importance of the development of the scientific community as the key resource of the sustainable development of the region and the whole country.
