RBC Group experts gave a lecture on Artificial Intelligence for teachers and students of the Faculty of Management
On January 16, 2025, the Faculty of Management of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University hosted a fascinating lecture on the practical application of artificial intelligence in business. The event was held as part of the cooperation agreement between the university and RBC Group.
Valentyna Yakubiv, First Vice-Rector of the University, and Dmytro Valeriyovych Zamurenko, Executive Director of RBC Group, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of introducing modern technologies into business education. The event was moderated by the Head of the Department of Management in Information Technologies Matsola M. M.
The keynote speaker was Igor Filipenko, Director of Advanced Analytics at RBC Group, who revealed the topic “How to make a delicious dish for business from Artificial Intelligence?”
During the lecture, teachers and students learned about:
– Fundamental differences between artificial intelligence and machine learning.
– Features of the application of different types of machine learning in the business environment.
– Concept and practical application of neural networks.
– Real possibilities of using large language models (ChatGPT, BARD, LLAMA) in business.
Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of using AI to improve the efficiency of customer service, including:
– Segmentation and analysis of behavioral patterns.
– Predicting and preventing customer churn.
– Development of personalized offers using advanced technologies.
– Sales optimization and resource planning.
The lecture aroused keen interest of the audience and demonstrated the importance of cooperation between business and education in training future professionals who will be able to effectively use artificial intelligence technologies in their professional activities.
